Are you a business owner feeling financial squeeze this January?
If so, you are not alone.
For many, the summer holiday is a five-week break from business as usual but, this lengthy period of irregular cash flow brings its own challenges.
The East Tamaki whizzes who focus on growing local small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs), are hosting a cash flow seminar to address the issues of the highs and lows of the bank balance.
BUSINESS buddy CEO, Kirsten Hawke says, “This is a particularly tough time of the year and at the cash flow seminar guests will learn how to develop a tangible plan to improve cash flow and seven common causes that affect cash flow.
“A common problem is when a client doesn’t pay their bill and the business still needs to meet all of their outgoings, such as wages, rent and paying their suppliers.
“Then an unexpected expense pops up out of nowhere.
“We’ll discuss managing this situation and ways to prevent it from recurring.”
Every guest at the seminar helps a woman who received a micro-loan to establish, grow her business and lift her family from the cycle of poverty by providing a one-day business mentoring session.
BUSINESS buddy loves the huge power of small and every ticket contributes to their Buy One, Give One (B1G1) partnership.
Ms Hawke won’t just give entrepreneurs a pat on the back and tell them “she’ll be right”.
She will cut through the waffle and help businesses create a robust financial plan to get their business back on track.
The cash flow seminar is at 35 Allens Road, East Tamaki from 4pm-6pm on Monday February 19, 2018.
Refreshments will be available, and every guest goes in the draw to win a door prize.
