Win tickets to the Waiheke International Jazz Festival - This Easter weekend, over 170 local and international musicians will have Waiheke Island humming during the Waiheke International Jazz Festival. The Good Friday Groove – headlined by Kiwi music veteran Dave Dobbyn – will kick off at midday on Friday, April 14, at the picturesque Rangihoua Estate in Rocky Bay. Waiheke will showcase three days of intimate events at various venues across the island, throughout Easter weekend. On Saturday, festivities will get underway with The Daytime Jazzabout, followed by the Evening Concert Series and the late-night Supper Club, before capping off the weekend with the Grand Finale on Easter Sunday. This week, we have have two tickets to give away to the Women in Jazz showcase on Friday, April 14, to one lucky Dish reader. The Friday night concert, scheduled to kick off at the Artworks Theatre, will feature the Allana Goldsmith Quartet and their tribute to Sarah Vaughn, paired with Australia’s finest jazz diva, Nichaud Fitzgibbon.
