We're self-proclaimed culture vultures here at Dish, so we think opening night of renowned theatre company Indian Ink's newest play, is simply too good to miss. From humble beginnings in a rehearsal space in Wellington to playing to over 450,000 people worldwide, Indian Ink is arguably New Zealand’s most successful theatrical export. Their newest work, The Pickle King, reflects and celebrates the lives of many immigrants across the country, working hard to find their place, settle in, and become a part of our wonderfully diverse community. This inspired comedy about love, life and the art of preserves, will have you in fits of laughter. Having travelled to The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Pickle King is lauded as Indian Ink’s most awarded play to date. To celebrate its nationwide run, this week, we're giving three lucky Dish readers the chance to win a double-pass to a performance of their choice, at theatres around the country. The Pickle King is scheduled to run at Dunedin's Fortune Theatre, Nelson's Theatre Royal, Auckland's Q Theatre and Wellington's Hannah Playhouse, during select dates in late June and early August.
