It’s Auckland Arts Festival time!
Taking place from 8-25 March, Auckland Arts Festival 2018 promises a non-stop showcase of New Zealand and international acts spanning theatre, dance, music, circus, visual arts and family shows and ranging from the most gloriously classical to the very edge of contemporary.
Featuring in 2018 is Nouveau Cirque du Vietnam’s ingenious circus show A O Lang Pho with extraordinary feats and breathtaking stunts, two exhilarating encounters with audacious composer Max Richter – his epic eight-hour overnight concert Sleep and his acclaimed Vivaldi Recomposed / Three Worlds, a theatre programme at Q Theatre featuring Hone Kouka’s searing new work Bless The Child and veteran actor, musician and Aboriginal elder Uncle Jack Charles in Jack Charles v The Crown, plus Robert Lepage’s masterpiece The Far Side of the Moon

New for 2018, the Festival has transformed Silo Park into the Festival Playground with sensational music, delicious food, the magical mirror maze House of Mirrors, art and fun for all!
And make sure you visit the iHeartRadio Festival Club at the Aotea Centre – gather for a drink or meal before and after a show, and enjoy live music provided by DJs and house band Yeah Baby’s.
