The East Auckland Mental Health Initiative (EMI) has been formed to challenge and overhaul the present concepts of mental illness and mental health. It’s looking for local community support to spearhead MindEasy, a comprehensive educational and therapeutic tool created by Mr Camilleri during the course of his 40-year career.
Mr Camilleri’s career includes a 33-year tenure as a registered clinical psychologist with 20 years in a forensic setting.
He took leave from the profession to author two books, Dirty Tricks of the Brain and MindEasy.
