The ASB Gala matinee of Under The Mountain on the 10th of February will be a fully immersive live experience that fans of the book, TV series and movie will love! For two hours prior to the matinee performance ASB will welcome over 600 theatre goers to experience 3 Under The Mountain zones – an Auckland beach, Under The Mountain and Outside the Mountain. The beach environment will be reflective of the typical kiwi summer of beach games and fish’n chips and ice cream, Under The Mountain will take us to a darker world involving mad scientists, UV face painting, jelly and slime, and Outside the Mountain will feature an arts and crafts area for some fun take home mementos. Relive the magic of award-winning novel and hit 80s TV series Under the Mountain. Lurking in the depths of Auckland’s volcanoes are the Wilberforces – shapeshifting evil aliens plotting our planet’s destruction.
