TLC formed in Atlanta in 1991, capturing the world’s attention with their sassy and sophisticated R&B set against a socially conscious lyrical style.
Three empowered women, Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez went on to sell over 22 million records alone.
Tragically in 2002, Lopes was killed in a car accident while spending time in Honduras. Refusing to call it quits in honour of their fallen sister, T-Boz and Chilli completed and released 3D that same year, and have continued to tour worldwide and star in various TV projects since then.
