Fans have been waiting with anticipation for this news since the Purpose World Tour kicked off in the United States earlier this year. These will be Bieber’s first New Zealand show since 2013’s acclaimed Believe Tour and his first ever stadium performance in our country.
The Purpose World Tour has already wowed fans and critics alike across the United States, Canada and Japan and will tour throughout Europe before landing in Australia and New Zealand next March. With more than 100 huge shows on the tour and close to a million ticket sales globally, there is no doubt that Bieber is at the top of his game with this tour.
‘…a concert that shows, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Bieber is back’ – Entertainment Weekly
‘The concert was sublime vocally, visually and musically’ – Rolling Stone
Bieber had a clear vision for the Purpose World Tour and worked alongside revered production designers to make these ideas a reality. A sonic and visual feast; the tour’s epic production features a light show with the latest in LED technology, a full band, a massive jagged-edge video wall, a fleet of phenomenally talented dancers, and even a forecast of on-stage rain.
The production’s big events are complemented with several intimate and acoustic moments, allowing Bieber’s vocals and multi-instrumental mastery (on piano, acoustic guitar and rock drums) to shine.
Touring in support of his 3x Platinum chart-topping fourth studio album Purpose (out now via Universal Music), lucky ticketholders can look forward to hearing worldwide smash hits including ‘Love Yourself’ (6x Platinum), ‘What Do You Mean?’ (5x Platinum) and ‘Sorry’ (4x Platinum) live for the very first time.
Adding to the hype, Bieber will be joined at all shows by Dutch DJ, record producer and musician Martin Garrix. Since bursting onto the scene at just 17-years-old with mammoth track ‘Animals’, Garrix’s unmistakable super-charged riffs and powerhouse production have seen him become a fixture at the top of the charts and in DJ Mag’s ‘Top 100 DJs’ poll.
With no further dates to be added, fans best act quick for the chance to witness this international superstar at the top of his game – don’t miss out!
