What: 5-day training course, plus three grafted heritage apple trees, recipes and notes, cuttings, seeds, produce and a head buzzing with ideas and inspiration.
Sheryn Clothier is our amazing self-sufficiency guru who writes The Good Life for this magazine each month and recently starred on Country Calendar. She also runs courses for people on how to be self-sufficient.
You get to share in her life for a week, learning nine practical modules. These range from how to milk a cow, to making butter, yoghurt and cheese, how to process meat, machinery maintenance, vegetable garden techniques, tree grafting and more, plus block design, pasture management, poultry-keeping (other than chickens!), pigs, and natural farming philosophies.
Prize includes live-in and all meals (sharing cooking and cleaning)
