Who can enter the competition?

Entry is open to Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over.

When does the competition close?

The competition closes at 11:59 pm AEST/NZST on August 4th, 2024.

How can one enter the competition?

To enter, participants must:
1. Purchase an Epiq jacket or vest between July 15th, 2024, and August 4th, 2024, from Kathmandu's website or participating stores in Australia and New Zealand.
2. Visit www.kathmandu.com.au/win or www.kathmandu.co.nz/win and fill out the online entry form with personal details and transaction ID.
3. Out There Rewards Members will automatically receive one extra entry by using the email address associated with their membership.

What are the prizes and the total prize pool amount?

The prizes include:

Major Prize:

A $40,000 Intrepid Travel voucher and a $10,000 Visa gift card. Two winners will be selected, one from Australia and one from New Zealand. The total value of each major prize is AUD/NZD $50,000.

Minor Prizes:

200 Kathmandu gift packs per country (400 total), each valued at AUD/NZD $284.90. Each gift pack includes:
- A carry handle insulated 1.2L drink bottle
- A large microfiber towel
- A Cotinga pack v5, 16L
- A large packing cube
- A Roamer coffee tumbler v2
The total prize pool is valued at AUD $106,980.00 and NZD $106,980.00.

How will winners be selected and notified?

Winners will be chosen by a computerized random selection on August 26th, 2024, at 12:00 pm AEST. The winners will be contacted within seven days using the contact details provided. The winners will also be published on www.kathmandu.com.au/win and www.kathmandu.co.nz/win by September 2nd, 2024.
Unclaimed prizes will be redrawn on October 29th, 2024, and the winners of the redraw will be notified and published by November 5th, 2024.
