Since then, the wonderfully conceited, petty, anal, idiosyncratic comic creation that is Alan Partridge has flourished across virtually every medium you can think of. He's been a sports reporter (again) on the seminal TV news spoof, The Day Today, host of his own TV chat show, Knowing me, Knowing You (which spawned his 'a-haaaaa!' catchphrase), and star of the fly-on-the-wall sitcom I'm Alan Partridge, which charted his return to to his Norfolk roots as Radio Norwich.
