Internationally renowned and the largest air show in the North Island, Wings will bring over 70 different aircraft to Masterton for a weekend of on the ground and in the air entertainment. Held only every two years, this Wings will be bigger, brighter, bolder and noisier than any Wings before it with some exciting changes to the programme. The Wings over Wairarapa Air Festival 2017 will also feature, for the first time in New Zealand, the newly formed Royal New Zealand Air Force Black Falcons. The Black Falcons have replaced the former RNZAF display team, the Red Checkers.
