It’s a busy time for inspirational singer and jewellery designer Boh Runga. She’s just celebrated the launch of her first jewellery collection since opening a retail store after taking back management of her jewellery line 10 years on from launching it with The Mint Republic.
The Sister Boh Dangles selection of earrings has a bold new look, but picks up on some of her popular feather motifs. A stylised huia feather design is new and the range comes in silver, yellow and rose gold. “I wanted to honour the designs that have become icons of my jewellery, but move them into a new decade, along with me,” she says.
Time, it seems is on Boh’s side, with the 49-year-old being chosen by natural beauty company Trilogy to represent its Age-Proof products. “I feel more confident in my own skin now than when I was younger,” she explains.
