By entering this draw the Eligible Entrant agrees to the Terms and Conditions. Any entry which does not comply with these terms and conditions is invalid.
Entry is open to all New Zealand residents,other than employees of the Promoter and its associated companies and employees of the Promoter’s electrical wholesalers and the immediate families of any such employees who are not eligible to enter.
The Promotion commences at 7.00 am on Monday, 17 August 2015 NZST and concludes at 5.00 pm on Monday, 30 November 2015 NZST (“Promotional Period”).
To enter, an entrant must choose their favourite switch range from a selection shown online at www.switchonandwin.co.nz or via the competition page on www.pdl.co.nz during the Promotional Period.
Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter. The Promoter is not responsible for failure to receive any entry for any cause beyond its control.
Each entry will go into the draw to win the Houselot of Switchgear Prize. The first valid entry drawn will win the Houselot of Switchgear Prize which is a houselot of Schneider Electric switches and sockets installed in their home. (Further details of this major prize refer terms and conditions point 10).
In addition to the Houselot of Switchgear Prize, each month one winner will be drawn to win a prize as detailed in point 11.
The Houselot of Switchgear Prize will take place at 10am on Thursday 3rd December 2015 at 38 Business Parade South, Highbrook East Tamaki. The winner will be notified by telephone or email using details provided on the winning entry form within 5 days of the date of the prize draw.
The Houselot of Switchgear Prize is subject to the following conditions:
(a)The Houselot of Switchgear Prize consists of switchgear for the house in which the winner is living or owns (or both):
(i) Switches, sockets, and additional power requirements from the Winners selected Schneider Electric switchgear range. Excludes: home control ranges, home audio ranges, lighting products.
(ii) Installation of the chosen switchgear by a local registered electrician as chosen by Schneider Electric. Excluding: additional or re-cabling where required; any safety requirements additional to those required to install selected products;Modifications to walls or ceilings;
(b) The total Houselot of Switchgear prize is valued at a total of up to $8,000 inclusive of GST,
(c) All components of the prize must be taken together. Any element of the prize not taken will be deemed to be forfeited. Once booked, any changes made to the booking may incur a cancellation fee or amendment fee, at the cost of the winner.
(d) The Houselot of Switchgear Prize is awarded to the winner being the entrant, however the winner may nominate a person to receive this prize, provided that any person who is nominated to receive this prize agrees to sign any form of agreement, indemnity or waiver required by the Promoter in relation to taking the prize.
(e) The winner has 12 months to redeem the prize
The Monthly Draw Prize is subject to the following terms:
(a) One prize will be drawn each month for the duration of the promotion
(b) The Prizes are: September: Apple Watch, October: Bose Bluetooth speaker, November: Ipad Mini
(c) All prizes will be drawn on the 5th day of the month for the entries received for the entire month prior
All Eligible Entrants consent to their names and towns appearing on the Promoter’s website and/or social media if they win a prize.
All Eligible Entrants agree to the use of their image and name by the Promoter for publicity regarding the Promotion and acknowledge that it is a condition of taking the prize that all the winner of the prize agrees to publicity regarding the Promotion including the use of their names and images without additional compensation.
The total prize pool of the promotion (Houselot of Switchgear and Monthly prizes) is valued at up to $10,000.00(GST inclusive). Prizes are not transferable and cannot be taken as cash. Prize values are correct at the time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prizes.
The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage, including indirect or consequential loss or damage, or personal injury suffered during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Winner may be required to sign a waiver of liability and indemnity in favour of the Promoter in respect of a prize, in the form determined by the Promoter.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. All details will be held in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, which can be obtained from the Promoter.
Incomplete entries are not valid.
ll decisions made by the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
If any prize item is unavailable despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure it, the Promoter may substitute with a prize item of equal or greater value.
If the Promotion is not able to be run as planned, whether caused by computer virus, line drop-out or congestion, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which affects the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion, the Promoter may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. The Promoter may disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
