Win a double pass to ‘Thank You For The Rain’, from the Doc Edge Festival Mindfood NZ

Climate change is an abstract idea for many, not impacting daily life. Kenyan farmer Kisilu Musya cannot shrug off climate change, cannot just buy a better waterproof coat or stick on some more sunblock. For five years he’s documented the life of his family and village, the roller-coaster ride of flash floods and devastating droughts. Through his lens, we see the daily impact of climate change — the problem at micro-level. Convinced that planting trees is the answer to counteracting global warming in his community, Kisilu organises local farmer groups, and makes endless presentations. With the support of Norwegian filmmaker Julia Dahr and his wife, Kisulu takes his message to the COP, the UN’s Framework Convention on Climate Change. But is anyone listening? We have a double pass to 'Thank You For The Rain' to give away, valued at $20.
