Entry is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand. Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. "Associated companies" includes without limitation, the agents and contractors of the Promoter that are involved in: (a) the promotion or development; and (b) the manufacturer or distribution of the Promoter's products. By entering the competition the participant represents that they are eligible to enter the competition based on these terms and conditions.
The promotion commences at 1300 Australian Eastern Daylight Time (“AEDT”) on 1 January 2015 and closes 1300 on 30 April 2015 (“Competition Period”).
To enter, go to au.atkins.com. Entry into the “Win a whole NEW look with Atkins” competition is part of registration process. At the conclusion of registration, applicants must complete field “In 25 words or less, why would a $2,500 makeover top off your transformation on Atkins?” in order to be eligible to win. Entry is open to new registrations only. Entry into the competition via a game of skill and is free of charge.
Entry is limited to one per person, for the duration of the 4 month promotional period (1 Jan – 30 April 2015).
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering or attempted tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to submitting an entry that is otherwise not in accordance with these terms and conditions. By providing your entry you consent to the Promoter using your personal information to determine whether any tampering or attempted tamping with the entry process has occurred.
Prize: 4 x $2,500 makeovers will be awarded. One per month from February – May 2015. Each month the entry deemed the most inspirational response by the panel of judges, will be awarded the Prize (4 in total – 1 per month).
This competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the identity of the winners. All valid entries received during the Competition Period will be judged on their merit.
Judging of the prize will be completed 10am on the following days:
a) 10am, Monday 16 February 2015
b) 10am, Monday, 16 March 2015
c) 10am, Monday, 20 April 2015
d) 10am, Monday, 18 May 2015
All winners will be notified by telephone and email, on au.atkins.com and in The Australian newspaper on Wednesday, 18 February, 18 March, 22 April and 20 May.
All prize packages must be claimed by 31 December 2015.
Total prize pool value over the promotional period is AUD$10,000. The details of the total prize pool are as follows:
• 4 x make overs made up of the winners’ choice of the following elements to a total value of $2,500 per make over. Winners can choose from the following elements to make up their $2,500 package:
• Hair treatment and styling voucher to the value of $500
• Spa session voucher to the value of $500
• Make-up consultation and product voucher to the value of $500
• Clothing voucher to the value of $1500
• Personal training voucher to the value of $500
• Personal training voucher to the value of $1,000
Prizes will be awarded as gift vouchers of the Promoters choice and are not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise stipulated. If for whatever reason the specified prize is unavailable the Promoter reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value.
The prize value is correct at time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of any prizes. No responsibility is accepted for any tax obligations which may arise for the prize winner. The Promoter recommends that independent financial advice be sought.
The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of participating in the promotion or accepting/using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter's liability is limited to the cost of replacing the prize or benefit won.
Each entry becomes the property of the Promoter. All details will be held in accordance with the Atkins Privacy Policy which can be accessed by visiting au.atkins.com/privacy-policy.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify and entrant that does not meet these terms and conditions.
The Promoter is not responsible for any technical or other malfunctions which may occur in relation to internet, network or network congestion, including problems with the transmission of entries or injury or damage to a participant or their computer related to entry in this competition.
The Promoter does not accept responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or entries not received by the Promoter.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner (and companions) to take part in any or all aspects of a prize, if the Promoter determines, in its absolute discretion, that a winner (and/or companions) are not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate.
By entering the competition, the prize winners agree to the use of their name, image and photograph/s for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and agree that the Promoter will own copyright in any such images and photograph/s and in all material incorporating the photograph/s.
If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, telephone or computer network, or lines, servers, or telephone or internet providers, traffic congestion on any phone or computer network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s handset or computer related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this Competition.
