TOMS Shoes started in 2006, when its founder Blake made friends with some kids in Argentina, and realised how desperately they needed shoes. So Blake started a shoe company called TOMS, where for every pair of shoes bought, a new pair of shoes is given to a child in need. One for one, every single time. So far, TOMS has given away more than 10 million pairs of shoes to kids in need!
