To make things easy, Hawke’s Bay Tourism has launched a brand new website! The website features a new Playlist tool - users can create their own dream holiday, then share with friends/family!
To celebrate, Sarah, Sam and Toni have 5 Hawke’s Bay escape’s for two people including transport, accommodation and some outstanding Hawke’s Bay experiences to giveaway!
Simply register below and tell us 2 activities from the Playlist below which would love to be part of your Hawke’s Bay escape.
Then listen to Sarah, Sam and Toni – they will name one of the items from the Playlist. If it is one of the items you selected in your registration, be the first caller through on 0800 THE HITS to win your Hawke’s Bay escape!
Win 1 of 5 Hawke’s Bay Escapes
1. By entering this competition you accept these terms and conditions and agree to follow the
instructions on how to enter (if there is any inconsistency between the information on how to
enter and these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions prevail). References to
“terms and conditions” mean these terms and conditions and the privacy policy below
2. Entry is open to all residents of New Zealand. NZME and Hawke’s Bay Tourism employees and
their immediate families are ineligible to enter or win
3. To enter, visit thehits.co.nz and create your Hawke’s Bay Playlist via the registration page
4. To register, select two Playlist items to get one entry in to the grand prize draw
5. During week two of the campaign, Sarah, Sam and Toni will announce one Playlist item. They
will then invite participants that selected the Playlist item as part of their online registration
to call 0800 THE HITS. The first caller through that identified the correct Playlist Item is a prize
winner
6. All entries become the property of NZME
7. NZME is not responsible for any lost, late, delayed, incorrect or misdirected entries
8. Entries close at 6am Friday 10th November 2017
9. There are five prizes’ to be won.
10. The final prize will be drawn by 9.00am Friday 10th November 2017
11. If the prize winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize, the winner will forfeit the
prize.
12. The prize consists of:
? Transport for 2:
Either flights (if Auckland or North) + 2 days rental car hire, or
$200 petrol (if North Island, South of Auckland)
? Accommodation for 2 for 2 nights
? 2 x activities for 2 people. Audience to select their favourite 2 activities from the

13. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash
14. Holidays must be booked by 31 Jan 2018
15. Holidays must be redeemed by 30 June 2018
16. Prize is not able to be redeemed over the following dates:

? 30 Mar – 2 Apr
17. NZME’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and no correspondence
will be entered into
18. The winner acknowledges that, to the extent permitted by law, NZME and Hawke’s Bay
Tourism accept no responsibility or liability (including in negligence) to any person for any
harm, damage, illness, injury, cost, loss, damage, expense or claim which may occur as a
result of the winner winning or using the prize. The winner accepts and uses the prize at his
or her own risk and agrees to indemnify NZME and Hawke’s Bay Toursim against all costs,
losses, damages, expenses and liabilities (including for loss of reputation and goodwill) and
any claim arising from their own actions in any way in connection with the prize
19. If the prize winner is under the age of 18 the prize will be awarded to the prize winner’s
parent or legal guardian. By accepting the prize, the winner’s parent or legal guardian agrees
to these terms and conditions
20. NZME reserves the right (in their absolute discretion) to extend, postpone, or cancel the
competition and to update these terms and conditions on without notice
21. The prize winner may be required to sign a declaration confirming their eligibility to accept
the prize NZME reserves the right to request the prize winners to provide proof of identity at
the nominated prize collection address. Identification considered suitable for verification is
at the discretion of NZME. To accept the prize the winner must agree to relevant third party
terms and conditions relating to the prize
22. Once booking confirmed no changes are permitted.
23. Other conditions may apply and will be advised at the time of booking
24. Neither NZME nor any other person or party associated with this competition shall be liable
for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or
consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either
participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered.
25. Additional costs including and not limited to travel insurance, food, spending money,
departure taxes (if any) and other incidentals are the responsibility of the winner.
