Administrator - Here is a thought for you to consider.

Assuming that you want to encourage people to keep trying surveys, but noting the very high rate of screening out, would you be prepared to offer some CompBux, guesses or spins for someone having attempted and been screened out of a specified number of surveys?

For example, every time one is screened out of, say, 20 surveys, one earns a free spin.

Surveys - There are three suppliers to the site - PureSpectrum, Lucid and Dynata.

When I check back, with just 1 Lucid survey exception, the only surveys that I have ever been able to complete, small number that they are, they are all Dynata.

I would be interested to hear whether anyone is having success in completing Lucid or Pure Spectrum surveys.

I had some spare time this afternoon, so I thought I would have some fun doing surveys, if you consider that to be fun. Here are the results of my efforts on this site.
Screened out of 48 surveys, before completing one Dynata survey, then continuing
Screened out of 2 surveys, before completing one Dynata survey, then continuing
Screened out of 21 surveys, before completing one Dynata survey, then continuing
Screened out of 290 surveys before completing one Dynata survey.

In summary, I was screened out of about 360 surveys, successfully completed 4 Dynata surveys, no Lucid surveys, and I was not offered any PureSpectrum surveys.

I decided to carry on to try to get up one more place on the survey board but after being screened out of the next 100 surveys, I gave up for the day!

Very similar day for me four completed and rewarded, another completed unpaid and at least 200 screen outs…….
Xtra question for admin, when can we redeem rewards again please?
I don’t believe it but I’ve just done a 35 minute $1.30 survey that said it was 53 minutes long!?

Weird - I complete a survey and get taken to the Australian, not the NZ, Competitions website, and asked to sign in, but don't get any reward, because I can't sign in to the Australian website anyway. Posted here in the hope that Admin reads it and responds, but done more in hope than expectation.

Anyone getting a better rate of surveys completed to screen outs than about 1%? Have tried 3 different web browsers, safari, chrome and edge.... any ideas out there?

I’m out, hell the hour rate and return on engaging in the website is horrific and that’s coming from someone who has won, the vast majority of people probably win nothing.

Even when there are 30 entrants, a 1 in 30 per week chance at up to $50. With a realistic chance of getting enough entries you’re giving a large portion of mental space to enter your up to 10 entires per hour. I’d love to see how much is being made by the owner per day by google ad space from this website.

It’s an amazing model but the time and frequency you have to come to this site is incredible.

And this is coming from someone who won $50 in the first couple of weeks doing this.

The math doesn’t math.

Appreciate the honest feedback Joseph. Worth saying a few things though.

The site isn't designed as an hourly-wage activity - it's a free-to-enter prize draw with some gamification on top. Treated as a job, yeah, the maths won't work. Most users dip in for a few minutes, enter what catches their eye and move on...

On prize sizes - NZ is a small market, and prize pools scale with active entrants. The site's been running here for years on tight margins precisely because the user base is what it is. Ad revenue is a lot less than people assume and it goes straight back into prizes, hosting and the hours it takes to source and load comps each week. If the site grows, prizes grow. That's the model.

Glad you won the $50 in your first couple of weeks. All the best.
