You just need to submit the correct answer each day here and you’re in the draw. We’ll make the draw before the end of the programme on Friday 21st September and all the winner live on air!

Conditions of Entry and Competition Rules
1. These Conditions of Entry and Competition Rules apply to the Journey Beyond promotion
with Newstalk ZB to be held between 17th September 2018 and ending on 21st September
2018. Newstalk ZB (a Station of NZME) will conduct the promotion. New Zealand Media
and Entertainment (NZME) reserves the right to add and/or delete participating stations at
any time.
2. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry and
Competition Rules. NZME reserves the right to exclude any person from the contest on
the grounds of criminal record.
3. How to enter: Every weekday the host will provide listeners with a question related to the
Journey Beyond ‘Rottnest Wonder’ prize on offer. A daily clue will also be posted on the
‘Andrew Dickens Afternoons’ Facebook page. Listeners will be directed to the Newstalk
ZB website competitions page (newstalkzb.co.nz/competitions) to submit that days’
correct answer. All correct answers will qualify for the grand prize draw. The grand prize
draw will take place on the afternoon of Friday 21st September 2018 within Andrew
Dickens Afternoons with the winner being contacted on-air by phone between 3pm and
4pm during the programme.
4. The prize is two (2) Rottnest Wonder packages consisting of:
- Two (2) economy flights from Auckland to Perth
- Two (2) economy flights from Sydney to Auckland
- 4 days/3 nights Sydney to Perth all-inclusive Gold Service travel on the Indian Pacific
for two adults
- Transfers for two to and from hotel/train stations
- Three (3) nights’ accommodation for two in Perth including breakfast for two
- 2 days/1 night Rottnest Discovery package including accommodation and touring for
two
- One (1) night accommodation for two in Sydney including breakfast for two
5. Bookings subject to space availability and peak period blackouts.
6. Additional travel expenses, including but not limited to additional meals, excursions, pre
or post ‘prize’ accommodation, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and
all other ancillary costs are not included. Winner and their guests must take all elements
of the prize at the same time.
7. Winner must provide full name and passport details of both travelers by Friday 5th
October 2019.
8. Winner and their guests must be in possession of valid passport and arrange
visas/ESTAs if necessary and travel insurance prior to departure.
9. If winner and travelling companions are from outside Auckland, domestic flights will be at
the expense of the traveler/s.
10. Any changes made to the prize by the prize winner or their travel companions, including
extending the trip, are at the winner’s expense and must be arranged by the winner.
11. Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
12. The judge’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. Only one entry per person.

14. Employees of NZME - This promotion's participating sponsors and their advertising
agencies, employees of other radio stations and members of their immediate families are
not eligible to participate and win. The term “immediate families” include spouses,
Grandparents, Parents, Children, and Grandchildren whether by marriage, past
marriages, remarriage, adoption, co-habitation or other family extension.
15. NZME disclaims any responsibility for the inability to complete or continue an entry due to
equipment malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnection, acts of God or otherwise.
Participants are restricted to the use of ordinary telephone and/or computer equipment.
16. To the extent permitted by law, NZME or any other person or party associated with this
promotion will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited
to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury as a result of the prizes.
17. By participating, all winners grant NZME exclusive permission to use their names,
characters, photographs, voices and likeness in connection with promotion of this and
other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use.
18. All personal details provided to participate in these promotions will be held by NZME for
the purpose of this promotion and entries may be used by the NZME for future
promotional and marketing purposes, unless otherwise advised by entrants.
19. NZME reserves the right to refuse awarding any prize to a person who is determined to
have violated a NZME rule as outlined above, gained unfair advantage in participating in
the promotion or obtained a winner status using fraudulent means.
20. Rules may be amended from time to time by employees of NZME. NZME reserves the
right to discontinue a promotion at any stage.
