BLACK CANVAS – WALL & PIECE.

Consisting of $ikeOne (MC), imaGe (MC), Shaqles (Producer/MC), and Mac Major (DJ), the four-part team have been turning heads for both their solo and group outputs. Alongside capturing the attention of David Dallas and PNC, between them they have also gained the endorsement of huge artists such as US rapper KRS One ("Thank you for being Hip-hop” is what he told MC $ikeOne), performed alongside Bone Thugs n Harmony and Freddie Gibbs and released their debut LP The Rookie Album. Rising up the ranks as New Zealand’s newfound hip-hop visionaries, The Doqument’s authenticity stems from a hustle and hard-work ethic that has set them apart from many rap groups, maintaining creative control and acting as their own production team – from producing and mastering their own music, to filming and editing their videos.
