PROMOTION SUMMARY – Win a Skinny VIPish Box experience
Radio Hauraki and The Alternative Commentary Collective, divisions of NZME (the “Promoter”), has
teamed up with Skinny (a subsidiary of Spark) to give you (or “contestant”) the chance to Win a
Skinny VIPish Box Experience. The campaign will run from the 14th of December to the 7th of January.
Skinny is the provider of the prize to NZME and holds no liability beyond prize delivery. NZME is
responsible for the communication and promotion of the prize including choosing a winner and
contacting them.
1. The Promotion starts at 6:00am on Friday the 14
th of December, 2018 and ends at 8:00am on
Monday the 7
th of January, 2019 (“Promotion Period”).
HOW TO ENTER
2. To enter the promotion a participant must:
a) Be available to travel to, and be in, Auckland for the 10th
– 12th of January, 2019 (i.e. for
the entire two day period).
b) Be 18 years of age or older (both people attending the Skinny VIPish Box experience need
to be 18 years or older).
c) Enter their contact details on the Promotion webpage ‘Win a Skinny VIPish Box
experience’.
3. Entries containing offensive or inappropriate activities, content or language will be void.
4. Participants may only enter the Promotion once. All duplicate entries will be void.
PRIZE:
The Skinny VIPish experience (“Prize”) consists of:
1. Tickets for you and a mate to attend the Blackcaps vs Sri Lanka cricket match at Eden Park on
the evening of Friday, 11th of January 2019.
2. Food and drink will be provided to you and your mate at the event, which is worth up to $500
and will be paid onsite by a Skinny representative.
3. Accommodation inside the Skinny VIPish box, in the Alternative Commentary Collective
caravan on the night of Thursday, 10th of January 2019
4. A Skinny VIPish experience (specifics to be disclosed upon arrival to the Skinny VIPish box
experience) on the day of Friday, 11th of January 2019.
5. Return flights from your origin city to Auckland (provided you live outside the Auckland
region) and transfers from you home to the airport and back again.
6. Accommodation at a four star Auckland hotel on the night of Friday, 11th of January 2019.
7. Further Prize information and details will be sent to the winning contestant by Skinny after
the winner is announced. These details include:
o Dates and times of travel
o Hotel on the 11th January
o Timeline for 24-hour prize
o Delivery of tickets to match
WINNING THE PRIZE:
1. The Promoter will randomly select one person from all valid online entries. A radio Hauraki
representative will call back the winning contestant on the phone number provided on the
winning contestant’s entry. The representative will attempt to call the winning contestant a
maximum of two times on [07/01/19] in 24-hours.
2. If the winner cannot be contacted the above time period the Promoter they forfeit the prize
and the Promoter will contact a new winner.
3. The winning contestant can choose a mate to join them, these two people will be the
“competition winners”.
4. By joining the winning contestant, the mate also agrees to these terms and conditions.
5. You and your mate MUST be 18 years of age or over on Friday, 14th December 2018. Failure
to be able to prove your age will be immediate disqualification from the competition and the
Promoter and Skinny will randomly select another person from all remaining online entries.
6. The competition winners must be available for travel within New Zealand to Auckland
between the dates of 10th and 12th January 2019. Failure to travel on these dates will mean
immediate disqualification.
7. Skinny will select your travel method and manage all bookings and transfers.
8. The winners must sleep inside the Skinny VIPish box inside the Alternative Commentary
Collective caravan on the night of Thursday, 10th of January 2019.
9. The competition winners must appear in video content filmed during the Prize delivery, this
content will belong to Skinny and may be used by the brand and its partners, including NZME
Holdings Ltd, in perpetuity at Skinny’s discretion.
10. The competition winners must be available for a potential chat on Hauraki or the Alternative
Commentary Collective broadcast during the 11 January 2019 cricket test.
11. To claim the Prize, the competition winners must provide the Promoter with their email
address, mobile phone number, and confirmation of their eligibility i.e. copy of their New
Zealand driver’s licence, passport or HANZ (R18 Card), via email. If this information is not
provided within two (2) days of the winning contestant being notified by the Promoter that
they have won the Prize, the winning contestant will forfeit the Prize and the Promoter and
Skinny will randomly select another person from all remaining online entries.
12. Skinny will send through all the details to the winning contestant’s nominated email address.
Provided the winning contestant has confirmed their email address, the Promoter will send
the Prize at least one working day prior to the departure date. The Promoter takes no
responsibility for any failure or delay in delivering the Prize but will provide all reasonable
assistance in cases where the Prize is not received by the winning contestant.
13. The winning contestant and their companion are responsible for any other expenses not
included in the Prize.
14. The Prize is not transferable, negotiable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for
money. The Prize may only be claimed by the winning contestant.
15. The Promoter will not be liable to any person in any way in relation to this Promotion
including, without limitation, any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not
limited to indirect or consequential loss), due to any changes to the trip for any reason,
including changes to the travel date, time, location, any death or personal injury howsoever
suffered or sustained, the cancellation or postponement for any reason of the Prize and the
quality of goods or services supplied by any party, except for any liability that cannot be
excluded by law.
16. All insurances are the responsibility of the winner/companion.
Other
1. These terms and conditions may be amended and the Promotion terminated at any time by
the Promoter.
2. The Promoter’s decisions on all entry and promotion matters are final and no
correspondence will be entered into.
3. The competition winners grant Radio Hauraki the permission to use their name, photograph,
voice and film recordings in which they appear, in connection with the Promotion and for
future promotion and marketing purposes and waive any claims to royalty, right or
remuneration for such use. This includes the right to use on the Promoter’s websites,
Facebook pages, on air and other publications of the Promoter. These details will be kept for
NZME’s future promotion usage, Skinny will not maintain any entrant data following the end
of this competition
4. The Promoter and Skinny will collect and use, for the purpose of the promotion and those
purposes stated on NZME’s privacy policy, the personal information you provide in your
online competition entry form. You have the right to request access to and correction of your
personal information (where such information is readily retrievable) by contacting Radio

5. Entry into this competition is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
