To celebrate we’re giving away two prize packs from Nelson chocolate maker Hogarth, valued at $75. Each prize pack contains: Fiji 73% bar Peru 66% bar Gianduia – Dark hazelnut Chocolate bar (we use Nelson grown hazelnuts) Rose & Vanilla Tea bar (collab with Simon Gault) Milk Hazelnut Log (Nelson grown hazelnuts) Dominican Republic 75% Drinking Chocolate Bag (250g) More about Hogarth Craft Chocolate: Karl and Marina Hogarth want you to rediscover chocolate. They are challenging common perceptions about chocolate and its standardised flavour. The Nelson chocolate manufacturer make chocolate from bean to bar. This means they ethically source premium cacao from around the world and make their chocolate using only cacao beans and sugar. Their single origin bars highlight the flavour of the cacao, the “terroir” of the location the cacao is grown, just like fine wine. For example, a cacao bean grown in Peru tastes vastly different to one grown in Madagascar, and chocolate made from those beans will taste vastly different too.
