Win Kings of Leon New Album or $5k - PROMOTION SUMMARY
Radio Hauraki, brought to you by NZME (the “Promoter”) are running the Kings of Leon $5K
Double Play. Radio Hauraki are giving you the chance to win their brand-new album ‘When
You See Yourself’ on vinyl when just one (1) Kings of Leon song plays. Once on the line you
will then have the chance to win $5,000 in cash if the following song is also a Kings of Leon
song (the “Promotion”).
How to Enter
1. The Promotion starts at 6am on Monday 8th March 2021 and ends at 11:59pm on
Thursday, 25th March, 2021 (“Promotion Period”).
2. To be eligible for the Promotion participants must:
a) be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry; and
b) be eligible under the Standard Promotion or Competition Rules below.
3. To enter, participants need to listen out on Radio Hauraki and anytime one (1) Kings
of Leon song is played during weekdays call through on 0800 HAURAKI. One caller,
selected by the announcer, will be taken to air and awarded their brand-new album,
‘When You See Yourself’ on vinyl. If the next song is another Kings of Leon track, that
caller will also win $5,000.
Prize
Either a $5,000 cash prize or a Kings of Leon ‘When You See Yourself’ Vinyl:
? ‘When You See Yourself’ vinyl album for hearing one (1) Kings of Leon song in its
entirety; or
? NZD $5,000 for hearing two (2) Kings of Leon song in their entirety and back-to-back
(the “Prize”).
? The Prize will be transferred to the winner’s nominated bank account via electronic
funds transfer within FIFTEEN (15) working days of the end of the Promotion Period.
Entry Restrictions
1. In order to win the Prize, participants will be required to participate on-air. If the
Promoter believes, in the Promoter’s absolute discretion, that the Participant may
use offensive or inappropriate behaviour or language, or that they may damage the
reputation of the Promoter, as determined by the Promoter in the Promoter’s
absolute discretion, the Promoter may disqualify the Participant from the Promotion
and any Prize awarded by the Promoter will be forfeit.
2. Participants who call through and go to air may only enter the Promotion once during
the Promotion Period.
Winning the Prize:
1. The successful caller will be selected by the Promoter at the Promoter’s discretion.
2. The caller who is selected by the Promoter and goes to air will win the Prize i.
3. A Prize winner will be selected each weekday of the Promotion Period.
4. To claim the $5,000 cash prize, the winner must provide the Promoter with their
email address, mobile phone number, bank details and confirmation of their
eligibility, e.g . a copy of their New Zealand driver’s licence, passport or HANZ (R18
Card), via email to jacki.polkinghorne@nzme.co.nz. If this information is not provided
within two (2) days of being requested, the Prize winner will forfeit their Prize.
5. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to refrain from broadcasting
any call.
7. Neither the Promoter nor any other person or party associated with this Promotion
will be liable to any person in any way in relation to this Promotion.
Other
1. These terms and conditions may be amended at any time and the Promotion may be
terminated at any time.
2. The Promoters’ decisions on all entry and Promotion matters are final and no
correspondence will be entered into.
3. The Prize winner will be notified on air at the time of winning, or via telephone.
4. The Prize winners are responsible for providing their correct contact details and bank
account details to receive payment.
5. The Prize winners will receive the Prize as a bank transfer to a bank account they have
nominated and provided to the Promoter. Provided the winner has confirmed their
bank account for delivery, the Promoter will send the Prize to the Prize winner’s
nominated bank account within FIFTEEN (15) working days of the end of the
Promotion Period.
6. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any failure or delay in delivering the Prize
but will provide all reasonable assistance in cases where the Prize is not received by
the Prize winner.
7. The Prize will be forfeited if the Prize winner fails to provide their contact details or
bank account.
8. The Prize is not negotiable and may only be claimed by the Prize winner.
9. Participants grant the Promoter permission to collect and use their name,
photograph, voice and film recordings in which they appear, in connection with the
Promotion and for future promotion and marketing purposes and waive any claims to
royalty, right or remuneration for such use. This includes the right to use on the
Promoter’s websites, Facebook pages, on air and other publications of the Promoter.
10. The Promoter will collect and use, for the purpose of the Promotion, your personal
information. Any personal information provided to the Promoter will be collected,
held and used in accordance with NZME’s privacy policy .
11. You have the right to request access to and correction of your personal information
(where such information is readily retrievable) by contacting the Promoter.
12. The Promotion is subject to these Specific terms and conditions and the Standard
Promotion or Competition Rules below.
13. Entry into this Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions,
our website terms of access and privacy policy.
