Flava Double Pass Giveaway and Grand Prize Draw - Terms and Conditions
1. Flava’s double pass giveaway is open to listeners who are 20 years of age or older (“Listeners”).
However, Listeners who are in any way excluded from entering SKYCITY Auckland, and
employees of SKYCITY Auckland, their related companies or their advertising agencies are not
eligible to win a double pass.
Double Pass Giveaway
2. An on-air giveaway will take place every Wednesday and Thursday between 18 April and 24
May 2018 during Flava’s ‘Wake Up Call’ at a random time between 6am and 9am. At each
giveaway, one Listener will win:
a) a double pass to the Vodafone Warriors v South Sydney Rabbitohs game in a designated
area of the South Stand at Mount Smart Stadium on Saturday 26 May 2018 (travel not
included); and
b) two promotional t-shirts.
Grand Prize Draw
3. A grand prize draw will take place in a designated seating area in the South Stand at Mt Smart
Stadium (as determined by the passes won in accordance with clause 2(a)) on Saturday 26 May
2018 during half time at the Vodafone Warriors v South Sydney Rabbitohs game (being
approximately 8.30pm)(the “Grand Prize Draw”).
4. At the Grand Prize Draw, 10 winning entries will be randomly drawn by a SKYCITY representative
hosting the draw from all eligible Grand Prize Draw Entries (as defined in clause 9(b)) placed in
the promotional draw barrel as at the time of the Grand Prize Draw and each Game Attendee (as
defined in clause 9) with a corresponding Wristband (as defined in clause 9(b)) will, subject to
clause 11, win the opportunity to play the game described in clauses 5 and 6. Each winning
Game Attendee will, immediately following the Grand Prize Draw, be escorted down to the
Mount Smart pitch by the SKYCITY representative and, in the order in which their names were
drawn, be asked by the SKYCITY representative to select one of 10 promotional ‘beepers’.
5. Once each winning Game Attendee has selected (or in the case of the winning Game Attendee
drawn last, taken) a beeper, the SKYCITY representative will ask all winning Game Attendees to
simultaneously click their beepers. The winning Game Attendee who successfully opens the prize
vehicle displayed on the Mount Smart pitch with their selected or taken beeper will win the prize
vehicle as further described in clause 7.
6. For the avoidance of doubt, once a winning Game Attendee has selected (or, in the case of the
winning Game Attendee drawn last, taken) a beeper, that Game Attendee will not be entitled to
select another beeper.
7. The black 2018 Suzuki Grand Vitara 5-Door SE 4WD car has a recommended retail price of
$38,990 and includes a full tank of petrol, a current warrant of fitness, vehicle registration, 5
year warranty package and 5 years roadside assistance (“Prize Vehicle”). The winning Game
Attendee will be solely responsible for any additional expenses, including motor vehicle
insurance, vehicle servicing and any non-standard vehicle accessories. The winning Game
Attendee must collect the Prize Vehicle in person from Trevor Main, at Winger Suzuki, 257 Great
South Road, Greenlane 1051 promptly after the close of the Promotion (but no later than 2 June
2018) and agrees to sign all documents required to register the Prize Vehicle in their name on or
prior to collection. SKYCITY recommends that the winning Game Attendee effects adequate
motor vehicle insurance for the Prize Vehicle from the time of collection.
8. SKYCITY reserves the right to withdraw and replace the Prize Vehicle with an item of
approximate value should the Prize Vehicle not be available for any reason.
Grand Prize Draw Entry
9. An attendee who is seated in the designated seating area in the South Stand at the Vodafone
Warriors v South Sydney Rabbitohs game at Mount Smart Stadium on Saturday 26 May 2018 by
virtue of winning or being gifted a pass won in accordance with clause 2(a)) (each a “Game
Attendee”) will be eligible to enter the Grand Prize Draw if at the time of the Grand Prize Draw
they:
a) are 20 years of age or older and are not in any way excluded from entering SKYCITY
Auckland or are not employees of SKYCITY Auckland, their related companies or their
advertising agencies;
b) have collected a numbered wristband (“Grand Prize Wristband”) (with a numerically
corresponding detachable stub (“Grand Prize Draw Entry”)) from select SKYCITY personnel
in the designated seating area from 5.30pm on Saturday 26 May 2018 until the time of the
Grand Prize Draw. The SKYCITY personnel will, after viewing both the Game Attendee’s
photo ID to verify their age and their pass authorising them to sit in the designated area,
place the Grand Prize Wristband around the relevant Game Attendee’s right wrist, detach
the corresponding Grand Prize Draw Entry and place that Grand Prize Draw Entry into a
promotional draw barrel; and
c) are wearing one of the promotional t-shirts won in a Minor Prize Draw in accordance with
clause 2(b).
10. A Game Attendee may obtain a maximum of one Grand Prize Wristband and corresponding
Grand Prize Draw Entry on Saturday 26 May 2018.
11. Each winning Game Attendee must be present at the time of the Grand Prize Draw and present
their un-tampered Grand Prize Wristband (as described in clause 12) displaying the
corresponding winning number to the SKYCITY representative hosting the Grand Prize Draw in
the designated seating area within 5 minutes of the Grand Prize Draw. If a winning Game
Attendee does not so present themselves in person within this timeframe, but SKYCITY
representative receives notification that the winner is in the surrounding area, then the
timeframe may be extended at the discretion of the SKYCITY representative to enable that
winning Game Attendee to arrive. If a winning Game Attendee cannot so present themselves
within the relevant timeframe, then another winning Game Attendee will be randomly drawn by
the SKYCITY representative from all remaining eligible Grand Prize Draw Entries placed in the
promotional draw barrel until another winning Game Attendee can be found.
12. An un-tampered Grand Prize Wristband is one that when presented by a Game Attendee is, in
SKYCITY’s reasonable opinion, fully intact, undamaged, being worn by that Game Attendee and
has not at any time been removed by that or another Game Attendee. If any Grand Prize
Wristband has, in SKYCITY’s reasonable opinion, been removed or otherwise tampered with it
will no longer be a valid entry into the relevant prize draw and SKYCITY reserves all of its rights,
including to not award the relevant prize.
