The experience you might have had before has changed! In 2011, KiwiRail rolled out a new fleet of trains with renovated carriages. These include open air viewing decks for photography, panoramic side and roof windows, un-tinted and non-reflective glass to make it easier for people to take stunning shots! We can’t forget to mention, these carriages also have on-board services including a caf?, hot meals and a bar serving a selection of NZ wines!
