Owners Bruce Dick and Mark Williams are giving away a SAYR ventilation system worth $3500 to a worthy east Auckland family. “We’re encouraging people to nominate a family they think would benefit from a home ventilation system – it could be someone down the street, someone they work with, or even a relative.” Other criteria include: • The family must own their own home (average three bedroom) • The ceiling of their home has a roof cavity • They must live within the delivery areas of the Times • The family has children suffering from asthma or other respiratory illnesses Children are at the heart of this giveaway as both Bruce and Mark’s families have directly experienced the health benefits of better quality air. When air quality is compromised, toxic mould spores, bacteria, dust, pollutants and chemicals often thrive in the damp environment of the home, causing a host of ailments including allergies, fatigue, headaches, interrupted sleep, as well as triggering more severe respiratory diseases.
