The Commando M was originally supplied to the army which explains the name “Commando” and the “M”, which is embedded in every sole, represents the original manufacturer, ‘Marathon Rubber Footwear Ltd’. There’s no doubt that sneakers are having a fashion revival and these New Zealand made icons are the epitome of casual kiwi cool. You can have any colour as long as they’re black or white! The Commando M will be available from Number One Shoes in February and will cost $39.95 a pair.
