Wendy’s ‘Makeys’ Fresh Music With Fresh Burger
Wendy’s Big Kahuna burger is back and it’s better than ever with caramelised pineapple, smokey BBQ sauce, New Zealand manuka smoked bacon, natural swiss cheese and your choice of fresh, juicy New Zealand Quality Mark sourced beef or whole chicken breast, all served on a buttery French-style brioche bun.
To help promote the new burger, Wendy’s enlisted hip hop legend King Kapisi, some well-known Vodafone Warriors players and a device called a ‘MaKey MaKey’. Invented by students at MIT, one of the world’s top universities, the MaKey MaKey allowed King Kapisi and Vodafone Warriors players Konrad Hurrell, Bodene Thompson, Suaia Matagi and Raymond Faitala-Mariner to make “fresh beats” using fresh ingredients in the Big Kahuna.
