Win a makeover and styling session Essential Mums

Feeling a bit drab or just in need of a change? Fancy a personal makeover? Essential Mums and Gorgeous Me are looking for a makeover model for May.
The prize includes a personal styling session, a hair styling and makeup session and fashion shoot from the team at Gorgeous Me worth over $1000, plus shopping vouchers worth $200.
It's easy to enter - just email a photo of yourself, tell us in 50 words or less why you should win and get friends voting.
Entries close Friday May 2, 10 entries will be randomly chosen for the public vote which will open on Saturday 3, and close on Wednesday 7 May. Conditions apply (see below).

Things you need to know
All entrants (first name, photo and reason for entering) will be posted on Gorgeous Me's website competition page, and also announced on Gorgeous Me's Facebook page and may be featured on Essential Mums' website and Facebook page. The competition will then be opened for public voting. Voting closes Friday 2 May 2014.
The winner will be chosen by the judges based on votes AND your reason for wanting a makeover, your story. A Gorgeous Me makeover will help you realise your full potential.
The makeover takes place on 14 and 16 May 2014 in Wellington. The winner is responsible for making their own way to Wellington and accommodation. We apologise to those that cannot make it to Wellington.
You need to be open to a new hair style - cut and colour. Don't worry, you'll be in very safe hands with the wonderful team at Kristina Raffaele.
You have to be ready and in the mindset for big change; we can't stress this enough. Whilst you are pampered throughout the makeover, it is not a pampering session. The makeover is designed to unleash the potential in you. In your mind, you have to be ready for and committed to change. And don't under estimate what a change it can be.

The winner must be a Gorgeous Me member (signed up to receive our emails) and a registered user of Essentialmums.co.nz at the time of the prize draw.
The makeover will take place in Wellington over two (non-consecutive) days. Contestants must be available for the two full days - Wednesday 14 & Friday 16 May 2014. The Friday is a 10-12 hour day.
Your prize includes: a 3-4 hour personal shopping trip with Gorgeous Me stylist Lisa Lyford, hair styling and makeup, a professional photography shoot and stardom on Essential Mums and Gorgeous Me websites.
Please note, if your hair needs to be 'stripped' of colour first, or if any hair or beauty treatments are required, this is not covered by Gorgeous Me. Gorgeous Me covers a standard cut & colour and makeup for the photo shoot.
The makeover photographs will be profiled on Essential Mums and Gorgeous Me websites and Facebook pages.
Employees of Fairfax New Zealand's corporate office and www.essentialmums.co.nz, and their immediate families, are not eligible for the prize
No correspondence will be entered into, other than the entry criteria. The winner will chosen by the judges based on number of votes AND the entrant's reason for wanting a makeover. The judges' decision will be final.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The prize must be used and accepted in its entirety, not parts of. If the winner cannot utilise the prize, it will automatically go to another entrant, as determined by the judges, or failing that it may be withdrawn if the judges deem necessary.
The winner will be notified by email.
The winner agrees for Gorgeous Me & Essential Mums (and any other part of the Fairfax Media Group) to promote them and their win in all its communications.
The winner agrees to all terms and conditions for the makeover and will sign a model release form.
Essential Mums and Gorgeous Me reserve the right to withdraw or alter the conditions of this competition.
