If you’ve got little munchkins with a love for music, you won’t want to miss the unforgettable Little Wild Storynights, playing at Uxbridge Arts and Culture Centre on February 21.
The show, brought to you by local songwriter Claudia Gunn, brings together music, family time and literature for kids aged two to eight years old.
Mrs Gunn won the APRA children’s song of the year in 2008, went on to win the award again in 2010, and has just been nominated for Best Children’s Album in the 2017 Children’s Music Awards.

Mrs Gunn won the APRA children’s song of the year in 2008, went on to win the award again in 2010, and has just been nominated for Best Children’s Album in the 2017 Children’s Music Awards.
She is currently a part of the Kiwi Kids Music collective, an association formed to promote children’s music in New Zealand and championed by children’s entertainer Suzy Cato.
When the mother-of-two heard about Storynights overseas, she thought the newly refurbished Uxbridge Arts and Culture Centre would be an ideal space to host one of her own.
“It’s big enough to make a show, but small enough to feel cosy too.”
Mrs Gunn has promised milk and cookies for every guest, and said kids can expect to hear original songs from her latest album Little Wild Lullabies, as well as an interactive component where she invites kids to participate in illustrating and colouring in.
“We really hope families get into the spirit of it, and come along with jammies and teddies,” she said.
The Times has two copies of the Little Wild Lullabies album to give away!
