Walking Stars is a night-time walking half marathon bringing thousands of people together to raise funds for the Cancer Society. Starting after sun down at Auckland Domain, the 21km route takes you on a magical starlit walk past some of Auckland’s finest landmarks. Walking Stars is a non-competitive event open to anyone of any fitness level. A half marathon (21km) is a challenging distance to walk, but with training and preparation, it’s an achievable goal for most people. You can choose to powerwalk, stride or stroll, but no running! You’ll receive a free training plan, as well as health and nutrition advice to help you prepare. You can do the event as an individual or part of a team. Many people choose to do it with friends, family or co-workers and we encourage people to get creative with fancy dress!

Saturday 24 November. Pre-event entertainment starts in the Auckland Domain from 7:30pm. The walk starts and finishes in front of the Auckland Domain Grandstand. Make a difference with Walking Stars and register your team now!
