The label is characterised by bringing together authentic sheep farming with striking, close-up designs. It ‘puts art and funk into wool’ by disregarding traditional patterns or designs. Instead, throws of the Artful Sheep are like a canvas, showcasing New Zealand icons like heroes in a film. This first design by the Artful Sheep, Eye-to-Eye, shows a ram up close, as if confronting the viewer, leaving no room for questioning whom the hero is.
