In celebration of Wellington on a Plate, whose 2018 programme runs from August 10-26, the Listener has five copies of Burger Wellington (Mary Egan, $29.95) to give away.
Burger Wellington, edited by food writer Lucy Corry, showcases almost 50 recipes from among past festivals’ finalists, winners and favourites. They include vegan flavours such as Bebemos’ “burger de feijão” with black bean and cashew patties. Some are pure indulgence, such as Logan Brown’s “Rossini’s revenge” with duck-liver parfait and fresh truffles, and many feature fresh seafood such as Egmont St Eatery’s “filet o’cray”.
