What Rachael McKenna loves best is photographing animals. She took the pictures of the canine contestants in our Cambridge Dog Show story on page 94 and her latest book The New York Dog (PQ Blackwell, $49.99) is the result of six months spent in New York where she captured a unique perspective of the city and some of its four-footed inhabitants.
