From the creators of ‘Doctor Who’ and set in the same universe, Prime brings you ‘Class’.
Poppy is a quiet girl, right up until she steals a car and drives it through a shop window. Max is a nice guy, but then he kills his whole family. Just for fun. Amar always seems so happy, so why is he trying to jump to his death from the school roof? Some of the students of Coal Hill School are not themselves. Some of them are dying. Ram has just woken up in a body he doesn’t recognise, and if he doesn’t figure out why he may well be next.
Picture shows L-R: Vivian Oparah as Tanya, Greg Austin as Charlie, Katherine Kelly as Miss Quill, Sophie Hopkins as April and Fady Elsayed as Ram

What if the entire population of your planet was massacred? What if the creatures who killed your people tracked you down? And worst of all, what if you hadn’t studied for your end-of- term exams?
Charlie is reserved, posh and doesn’t really fit in at school. But that’s because he’s an alien. A prince from another planet, Charlie is the very last of his kind – with only his enemy, the formidable Miss Quill, for company. His classmates at Coal Hill Academy are big-hearted musician April, physics genius Tanya, and school heartthrob Ram.
Like all teenagers, these four students have hidden secrets and desires. They are facing their own worst fears, navigating a life of friends, parents, school, sex, sorrow – and possibly the end of existence.
The very walls of space and time are starting to thin. Something is pressing on the other side: something waiting for its chance to kill everyone and everything, to bring us all into Shadow.
Fear is coming. Tragedy is coming. War is coming. Prepare yourselves… Class is coming.
To celebrate ‘Class’ screening on Fridays at 9.30pm on Prime, NZ Booklovers have five copies of the TV-tie-in book ‘Class: Joyride’ by Guy Adams to giveaway!
