PROMOTION TERMS & CONDITIONS
Promoter: The Promoter is Mediaworks, of Level 1 Fountain Court, 1 Jervois Road, Saint Mary’s Bay, Auckland,
New Zealand
Promotional Period: The promotion starts at 12:00am on October 16 - 11:50pm on October 20 2017, or until
the prize is won.
Entry Restrictions: Entry is open to New Zealand residents who are aged 18 years and over. Listeners under
the age of 18 will not be accepted as prize winners.
Entry Mechanic:
1. Every day for one week during the Promotional Period Jono, Ben and Sharyn will solicit listeners to
call 0800 THE EDGE to play ‘Mariachi Mystery’.
2. A Mariachi band will perform a snippet of a song, which the listener on the line will have to guess.
3. The first listener to correctly guess the song title and artist will instantly win Jose Cuervo merchandise
and be put in the draw to win a trip for two to Cancun, Mexico to celebrate the Day of the Dead
festival.
Judging details and winner notification.
1. In order to win the prize, listeners will call 0800 THE EDGE and must be put to air.
2. Listeners will need to correctly identify the song the Mariachi Band is playing to be put in the draw.
3. A winner will be randomly selected from all successful entrants on Friday October 20, 2017 and
announced on air with Jono, Ben and Sharyn.
4. The listener must be in contact with The Promoter [prizes@theedge.co.nz] within 7 working days
from winning their prize to redeem and organize the prize.
5. If deadlines are not reached for prize redemption, the Winner will forfeit the prize.
The Prize:
1. The prize consists of flights for two and applicable airport taxes, ex Auckland International Airport and
3 nights accommodation.
2. Spending money is NOT included with this prize. Winners must cover any additional relating costs that
are not mentioned within The Prize.
Redemption of the prize:
1. Dates of travel are from 29-30 October to 2-3 November. The winner and their travel companion
must be able to travel these dates. Dates and travel times are subject to change.
2. The Prize Winner and travel companion must have a current passport and be valid to travel to the
destination of the promotion.
3. Winner and traveling companion are responsible for any applicable VISAs and Country Entry
Requirements to their winning destination.
4. If the above requirements cannot be met, the Winner will forfeit the prize.
