Valeur Absolue recently conducted a study that showed just how much a lack of confidence can be an obstacle for women. This lack of assurance, even if it’s temporary, makes them act out of character. (That’s also a direct quote because I think they say it so well!)
That was enough to encourage the birth of Confiance.
The warmth of vanilla is at the heart of the scent. Vanilla is not just warm and nurturing, it also has wellbeing properties. Studies have shown that breathing its scent stimulates the growth of premature babies and it can also be used to calm patients who feel claustrophobic or afraid.
So what do you get? Well, on first spritz you’ll get a whiff of clove and cinnamon. Then it’ll move onto the vanilla, which is joined by peach and amber and it ‘dries down’ to the warm and spicy notes of cedarwood and Siam benzoin. It’s not flowery, I’d describe it as warm and enticing.
Plus there’s the addition of oligo elements and extract of Immortelle which releases beta-endorphines – the happiness molecules! So spray and smile :-).

The gem stones within the bottle – which are a signature of Valeur Absolue – are orange carnelian. They’re considered an anchoring stone, in fact the Egyptians believed they had protective powers. Plus, and I love this, orange carnelian is also believed to keep negative thoughts at bay, restore concentration and love of life.
