If you consider yourself to be handy with a fishing rod, follow the 3 simple steps below for your chance to win $5,000 CASH with The Rock’s Take A Photo Of A Fish Competition:
Step 1:
Catch up with The Rock Roadies in your location and pick up the official Take A Photo Of A Fish Competition ‘measuring sticker’ to whack on the side of your boat. Don't stress if you don't have a boat, chuck it on the side of your kayak, chilly bin or just lay it flat on the ground. (If you can’t find the Roadies, head into your local Rock office – the stickers will be available from reception. You can find your nearest office here).
Step 2:
Whenever you’re out fishing, take a heap of photos of your daily catches, making sure our ‘fish measuring sticker’ is in shot and that your fish is legal size.
Step 3:
Upload your snaps online at therock.net.nz or to your Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account with #rocksnaps to be in to win $5,000 cash!
It’s not about the size, it’s about the best photo, as voted by Rock listeners – so even if your catch is a bit on the small size, you’re still in with a chance of winning the big bucks! The more creative the photo, the better.
All the snaps we receive will be uploaded to a gallery online. Once entries have closed on February 17th The Rock will pick a bunch of the best snaps and ask you guys to vote for who you think should win the $5,000 cash. By voting you’ll also be in to win a sweet $1,000 – easy money for doing pretty much sweet f all.
The measurements on The Rock’s official Take A Photo Of A Fish Competition stickers may not be accurate for the region that you are fishing in. The Rock does not condone illegal fishing in any way so please check out Ministry of Primary Industries for the official size limits and rules for your specific region.
