For every item you register on SNAP.org.nz between 1st April 2014 and the 31st July 2014, you’ll gain an entry to WIN $2,000 cash!
The purpose of SNAP or ‘Serial Number Action Partnership’ is to prevent burglary, property offending and the trade of stolen property in New Zealand by encouraging the recording of serial numbers of important possessions or assets on SNAP’s new website.
Cash Converters are proud to support this initiative and are funding a national school tour of Bryan & Bobby. Cash Converters are also running a competition where you could win $2,000 cash just by signing up to SNAP.org.nz and recording details of your property.

COMPETITION INFORMATION
Win $2000 Cash “Grand Prize Draw”, Win $200 Cash “Monthly Prize Draw” and Win $2000 for your school “School Competition”.
“Grand Prize Draw” The winning prize is one prize of $2000 cash. The Grand Prize draw opens 1st April 2014 and closes 31st July 2014. The winner will be drawn and notified on the 4th August 2014 on the email address provided at entry.
“Monthly Prize Draw” The winning prize is $200 cash. There are four prize draws. Entry is gained to the relevant draw depending on the date of entry, provided a Cash Converters' store's or school's unique promo code is entered.
(i) Monthly Prize Draw 1 opens 1st April 2014 and closes 30th April 2014. The winner will be drawn and notified on the 2nd May 2014 on the email address provided at entry.
(ii) Monthly Prize Draw 2 opens 1st May 2014 and closes 31st May 2014. The winner will be drawn and notified on the 2nd June 2014 on the email address provided at entry.
(iii) Monthly Prize Draw 3 opens 1st June 2014 and closes 30th June 2014. The winner will be drawn and notified on the 2nd July 2014 on the email address provided at entry.
(iv) Monthly Prize Draw 4 opens 1st July 2014 and closes 31st July 2014. The winner will be drawn and notified on the 4th August 2014 on the email address provided at entry.
“School Competition” The school that has their unique promo code entered the most times via the entry form on SNAP.org.nz between 1st April 2014 and 31st July 2014 will win $2000 cash to go towards equipment of their choice. The winning school will be contacted via email on the 4th August 2014. Any school that has not been given a promo code can request one by contacting the promoter.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The promoter is Cash Converters Franchising NZ LP.
2. Entry into each draw is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions or entries that are late, lost, misdirected, incorrect or incomplete will be deemed invalid and the promoter takes no responsibility for such entries.
3. To be eligible to enter any Prize Draw, entrants must:
(3.1) complete an online entry form. This entry form will become available each time a property item is successfully saved to your SNAP.org.nz asset list. A completed entry form must include the entrant's contact email address. This email address must be a personal email address – if the promoter determines that the email address is used by multiple persons (such as a generic ‘info@company.co.nz’ email address) the entry will be deemed invalid.
(3.1.2) enter a valid promo code to gain a valid entry in to the Monthly Prize Draw and the School Competition. Promo code is not required for the Grand Prize Draw.
(3.2) be 16 years of age or over and be a New Zealand resident.
4. There is a limit of 50 entries per person for the duration of the competition.
5. The following persons are not eligible to enter any prize draws related to this promotion:
(5.1) Board members, employees, agents (and agents’ employees) and contractors of the Cash Converters and the Immediate Family of such persons, “Immediate Family” of a person means the parents, siblings, children and spouse or partner (whether legal or de facto) of that person.
(5.2) Employees, agents (and agents’ employees) and contractors of Datacom (the website provider)
6. Only the customer who originally entered can be awarded the Prize.
7. All entries into the Grand Prize draw are eligible to enter the Monthly Prize draws, provided the entry requirements are met. It is possible to win the Grand Prize and Monthly Prizes.
8. The final decision in respect of any winning entry will be at the sole discretion of Cash Converters and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. The winner(s) will be contacted after the draw by email. If Cash Converters is unable to contact a winner by 5pm three weeks after the draw they won was conducted, having made reasonable efforts to do so, the winner’s entry will be declared invalid and Cash Converters reserves the right to randomly redraw another winner on the same terms and conditions as the original draw.
10. Cash Converters reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions, or who tampers with the entry process or attempts to act in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, as ineligible to participate in the competition.
11. If any Prize draw cannot be run as planned for reasons beyond the control of the promoter the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this competition at any time.
12. The promoter takes no responsibility for any inability to enter, complete, continue or conclude any Prize draw due to equipment or technical malfunction, Acts of God or otherwise.
13. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the promoter and any person in connection with this competition are not liable for any direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage whatsoever suffered or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with (i) participation in this competition; (ii) the Prize or use of the Prize; and (iii) the administration of this competition and distribution of the Prize.
14. Failure by the promoter to enforce any of its rights under these Terms & Conditions at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
15. The personal information (limited to email address provided on the entry form) provided by each entrant entering any prize draw in relation to this promotion will be held by the promoter in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993. The personal information will be held by Datacom (the website provider) and will be released to Cash Converters for it to be used only for the following purposes: 1. Drawing a winner. 2. Contacting a winner. 3. The personal information will be used by Datacom to establish a database for SNAP.org.nz related communication, provided consent to do so has been granted by the entrant.
16. The promoter will not sell, disclose or distribute the personal information provided by entrants to any person, organisation, agency or other third party (except as required by law). Customers may request access to their information or may request that their information be removed from the database by contacting the promoter.
17. All email addresses provided by entrants, that have not given permission for this email address to be added to the database to receive periodic communication from SNAP.org.nz will be destroyed once all prizes have been successfully awarded.
