Who can enter the Chorus New Zealand's competition for free fibre broadband?
The competition is open to individuals who live in New Zealand, are aged 18 years or over, and are connected or can connect to the Chorus fibre network. Employees and immediate family members of Chorus, its related companies, and partners associated with the competition are not eligible. Participants using Skinny and Bigpipe broadband accounts need to switch providers to claim the prize.

The competition runs from Tuesday, 1 November 2023, until 11:59 pm Tuesday, 30 April 2024.
How can one enter the competition?
Entries can be made by selecting the opt-in box on specified web forms on the Chorus website, completing a dedicated competition entry form on Facebook, or joining the Chorus mailing list during a fibre box installation. Only one entry per person is allowed, and this entry is valid for all subsequent draws during the competition period.
What are the details of the prize?
The prize is a year’s free fibre broadband, valued at $1,200. There will be two winners throughout the competition, with one winner drawn every three months. The prize amount will be paid directly to the winner's current broadband provider to credit their account. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash and cannot be used with other promotions, vouchers, or discounts.

The total prize pool amounts to $2,400, covering two winners throughout the competition duration, with each winner receiving a prize valued at $1,200.
How will the winner(s) be determined?
Winners must have provided a valid email and address. They will be notified by email, and Chorus’ decision regarding the winner or any aspect of the competition is final. The winners have 10 days to respond and confirm their acceptance of the prize.
