Shade Swim was founded in Australia in 2018 by Alyshia Morris from Brisbane. She was diagnosed with two stage 1 melanomas in 2013 at the age of 32 and realised how important it is to have a sun safe lifestyle. Shade Swim came about through Alyshia’s passion for sun safety, sustainability and style. The brand has carefully created timeless and thoughtful designs with the female shape in mind. She believes that every woman deserves to feel comfortable in their swimwear, no matter their shape or size. Shade Swim is all about loving and protecting the skin you’re in.
The range is designed and made in Brisbane, Australia (and is now shipping to NZ online). Shade Swim work closely with their manufacturer to ensure that they are delivering the highest quality pieces, while also looking after our environment. They produce small quantities of their ranges with minimal wastage and use a sustainable Lycra with UPF 50+ to ensure that you are protecting your skin from the harsh summer sun when enjoying the great outdoors.
Shade Swim’s new Endless Summer collection aims to encourage women to feel confident in their swimwear, whether they’re at the beach, by the pool or heading to brunch after a surf, while emphasising the importance of sun safety.
