This will be followed by Gliere’s romantic Harp Concerto, a work of extraordinary beauty featuring MSO harpist Yi Jin as a soloist, and Beethoven’s 4th Symphony.
Brilliant, lighthearted and graceful, Beethoven’s work of utter delight was written during a very happy period of his life, and undoubtedly reflects that when performed in concert.
The two-hour show takes place at the Vodafone Events Centre, 770 Great South Road, Manukau on Saturday, June 24 at 7:30pm.
