One year after the successful launch of his debut fragrance, singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes is releasing a second scent for women and men. Inspired by the experience of writing and recording his 2018 self-titled album, Shawn Mendes Signature II embodies the same honesty and raw emotion conveyed by his music and lyrics.

During the album creation process, Shawn set out with a specific genre of music in mind, yet the compilation of songs morphed into a multi-faceted album that fits in no one genre—much like Signature II. The anthemic scent is an unexpected combination of contrasting flavours, a mixture of bold and soft notes that immediately draws in the audience.
THE FRAGRANCE
Shawn Mendes created Signature II alongside IFF perfumer Celine Barel, who says, “This new fruity woody fragrance olfactively evolves from the debut scent, but stays true to the addictive quality of the original by using notes that allude to Shawn’s roots and artistry.” The dry down brings forth the unique DNA of Shawn’s fragrance collection; the Sugar Maple Accord reappears in Signature II and seamlessly melds with the warmth of the Walnut Wood, both indigenous to Canada, and ends with creamy Ambery notes, creating a lasting impression.
Top: Fresh Green Pear, tempered by the spice of Ginger Oil and the tartness of Pineapple, creates a mouthwatering, inviting introduction.
Mid: A touch of Apricot Blossom lightens the woody, musky notes – Balsam Fir and Labdanum Resinoid– that kick in at the heart.
Dry Down: The smooth mix of Sugar Maple Accord, Walnut Wood, and Ambertonic at the base creates a creamy, lingering glow.
