NZ's Winter has started with one hell of a party for the last 43 years. That party is the Real Journeys Queenstown Winter Festival and this year the party is as fresh as the season's first powder.
All the old favourites remain but this year there are some epic changes. All the good stuff you know and love will still be part of the programme so you should still be getting your dog in training for the Monteith's Dog Derby and be prepping your wings for a polar plunge at the good old iHeartRadio Day on the Bay.
This year the festival 'host mountain' is Cardrona and the talent line-up is a celebration of NZ's hottest music talent. Also keep an eye out for some sick snow action in the heart of town. This will be the ultimate event to improve your Instagram feed for 2018.

Promotion Summary:
? The New Zealand Herald is giving you the chance to win a weekend in Queenstown for two during the
Real Journeys Queenstown Winter Festival including accommodation, a rental car, lift passes and
tickets to the Comedy Night.
Dates/Mechanic:
? The campaign opens for entries at 6.00am on Monday 30th April
? Entries close on Sunday 13th May, 9:00pm
? To get in the draw, the entrant will need to answer a question related to the Queenstown Winter
Festival on the NZHerald.co.nz/Win page.
? To be eligible, participants must:
o Be 18 Years of age or older (and if they win, their travelling companion must be too)
o Be eligible under the Standard Promotion or Competition Rules below
o Be available to travel between Wednesday 20th
– Monday 25 July 2018.
Prize:
? Return economy flights for 2 to Queenstown only from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch in New
Zealand
? Twin share/Double accommodation in Queenstown at The Rees Hotel & Luxury Apartments
? Two Day lift pass for Cardrona Alpine Resort including ski and board hire
? Car rental from JUCY rentals
? Tickets for two to the Comedy Night on Thursday.
Winning the Prize:
? The winner will be chosen randomly from the list of correct entrants received by the Promoter.
? The Promoter will attempt to contact the winner a maximum of 2 times, using the contact details
provided at the time of entry. The entry and Prize will be forfeited after two failed attempts.
Special Terms:
? The Promoter takes no responsibility for any failure or delay in delivering the Prize but will provide all
reasonable assistance in cases where the Prize is not received by the Prize Winner.
? Flights, accommodation and all service providers will be selected at the discretion of the Promoter.
Once bookings are made, no changes are permitted.
? The Prize Winner is responsible for any other expenses not included in the Prize including the cost of
any airport transfers, transport (to and from the Concert), food or beverages.
? The Prize is not transferable or negotiable and may only be claimed by the Prize Winner.
? Attendance at the Concert is subject to the terms, conditions and restrictions of the Concert venue and
any other third-party service providers responsible for the Concert. The Winner agrees to comply with
all terms and conditions and any reasonable instructions given by such third parties.
? Participants grant the Promoter permission to use their name, photograph, voice and film recordings in
which they appear, in connection with the Promotion and for future promotion and marketing
purposes and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use. This includes the right to
use on the Promoter’s websites, Facebook pages, on air and other publications of the Promoter.
? The Promoter will not be liable to any person in any way in relation to this Promotion including,
without limitation, any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or
consequential loss), due to any changes to the Concert for any reason, including changes to the date,
time, location or line-up, any death or personal injury howsoever suffered or sustained, the
cancellation or postponement for any reason of the Concert and the quality of goods or services
supplied by any third party, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
