Curry Easy Vegetarian is one of those gorgeous , well photographed books where you can't wait to try the recipes. Perfect for when you have a veggie coming for dinner, and so much better than giving them something stuffed into an Aubergine. Great choice of snacks ,drinks and chutneys aswell as the usual mains etc. Though there does seem to be a lot of potato based recipes. ( the Potato Patties were delicious!) I also tried the mungbean ,potato and mushroom curry, as I just love mushrooms and mung beans. I served it as suggested with bread and yoghurt relish, and didn't expect to like it that much as I am a confirmed carnivore - but the mushrooms actually made it feel like you had meat on your plate and the combinations of spices smelled devine while cooking.
The only drawback to alot of the recipes was that you neede to be relatively close to a well stocked Asian store as many of the spices you just couldn't buy in the local shops, also some of the grains were a bit unfamiliar too.
But a definate for your kitchen cook book shelf for sure.
