Disney’s Cinderella was for me, as for many others of my generation, one of the first movies I saw. It came out in the Fifties when my parents were born and so I grew up with it being a classic and iconic piece of my childhood. It had everything; talking mice who could sew, a beautiful kind heroine, and a happy ending. Now years later it has been re-imagined as a live-action feature inspired by the classic fairy tale, which brings to life the tale for my children, two generations on. I saw it myself last week as well as the new Frozen Fever 8 minute short film preceding it, and I absolutely loved both of them. I highly recommend it to all parents, and also to all lovers of magic, happy endings, and true love.
