Jenny’s Tamarind Chutney is my favourite go to chutney, I rarely bother to make chutney and with something that tastes as good as this I really don’t need to.
Fabulous with cheese and crackers, in a cold lamb sandwich or as a condiment with samosas, it really has such a great flavour and balance of sweet and sour.
Jenny’s Tamarind Chutney is a true anglo-indian chutney with an exquisite depth of flavour. It’s sweetness balances the natural sourness of Tamarind*. There is none of the vinegar taste that dominates so many chutneys, and it is beautifully spiced to create a full flavour with various options of ‘hotness’ to suit.
